I have been both the prodigal son and the older brother- I know I can not earn my way into heaven, I know my sin’s have been forgiven! I have always known that God was with me, I didn’t know why. The things I have done and the sins I have committed are still with me, I know it’s Satan trying to pull me down and make me feel I don’t deserve forgiveness- I feel lost, unworthy, that I have failed God and those that I love! I pray to God everyday, I’m lost, I don’t know what path he wants me to take, I talk to him I ask for guidance and peace and the strength to go on, I have days when I feel like I have no reason to go on…but I do, I don’t understand the things I’ve done or why things have happened to me or my family, I know God has a plan for me, he has a path that he wants me on but I have no idea what it is- I just pray for peace and to just be still and have faith that God will put me on that path-

Dee, I don’t know what you are going through but I am certain of one thing, EVERYONE is precious in God’s mind! This Easter season reminds me of the heart-wrenching pain God felt as Jesus was suffering on the cross, just to restore a relationship with Him that he so craves. I pray that God’s loving presence fills your soul and that the Holy Spirit gives you direction in whatever avenue he has planned for your future.
